1) There are 6,852 islands in the archipelago 2) They have ruled for 1500 years. e.e 3) Righteousness, Courage, Benevolence, Respect, Sincerity, Honor, Loyalty 4) There once was a man named Asano, who was chosen to entertain envoys around Japan. He had a master, Kira, who he hated and one day, he attacked him in the shogun's palace. He was put to death, and his people were ordered to disband and become ronin. They vowed to get revenge on Kira, however, they lulled him into a sense of false security by taking menial jobs and having no regard for their personal lives. Eventually, Kira believed he was no longer in danger, and lowered his guards. The 47 ronin attacked, offering him a chance to kill himself before chopping off his head with the dagger used to kill Asano.
