Hello everybody and welcome to another episode of RPSWJ. Happy to be able to continue broadcasting from withing the game after what was a pleasantly surprising Tribal council. We will get into the fall out from Tribal, what the future looks like for Rob Cesternino and what maybe my swan song.
So first and foremost, my hats off to PG, Eliza, Alex and Baylor because they played everyone like a fiddle last time around. Here is my understanding of the votes
PG, Eliza, Alex, Abi and Coach voted Rupert. While my initial assessment of Coach's vote being irrelevant to the result wasn't entirely off base, he was definitely a force majeure in what went down.
Rup, Fairplay voted Alex because I can't believe they actually went through with that one
Siska and Amber, the 2 people Fairplay, and to an extent I, felt confident wouldn't vote Fairplay voted for Fariplay
Corinne and I voted Amber. Why? because Abi told us We done goofed that up.
Baylor apparently didn't vote.
A lot of emotions ran through my mind as I read the votes. First and foremost, only 2 amber votes?? 2?? What the fuck! Abi Maria Gomes lied to me Secondly, Fairplay is relatively easy to figure out and steer. Gladly he made it through. Thirdly, Rupert went. Rupert. Could it be a coincidence that Rupert was the name I had thrown to Eliza? When I sang like a canary to her? Hmmmmm. Food for thought.
So, after the votes are read, Fairplay firstly kicks Abi out of the GAOA alliance chat and adds in Siska who confesses to being played for a fool by Eliza and PG. I must say he had me fooled into thinking he was voting Eliza. And I message Amber. And for the first time, I think we had a genuine conversation. She thanked me for voting against her and I said "Happy to oblige" We cleared the air and I made her a deal that I won't write her name down again. She proposed making a group chat of all the outcasts. And thus "The Outcast Losers" alliance was born consisting of Amber, Corinne, Fairplay, Siska and I. We swore that no matter what happens, if the tide turns, the 5 of us stick together. I am 100% committed to this alliance. Even if this means I end up getting 5th. For now, this 5 is my only hope at life in the game.
We exchanged notes about everything we knew. Abi was duped by Eliza and PG into thinking Fairplay has the idol and that she had to come on board with them or they wouldn't trust her and some other BS like that. Coach told Abi that she can't tell me or Corinne because we would blab to Fairplay. In all honesty, I would have been overjoyed had I known Rup was leaving because he really was of no use to me. And I thought Abi trusted me enough to know I wouldn't blab to him. As of now that is going to cost her big time.
The plan for this "Outcast Losers" alliance was put into play a few hours after the result reveal. Amber showed us chats of her and PG where PG came to her and apologized about lying. And prima facie it looked like PG really wanted to mend fences with Amber. The 5 of us know that if the 5 of us make F10, we make F5 because of the katana that Amber yields. So Amber voiced her concerns over Abi to PG. She put in place to PG that she wants Abi out and that way Amber can trust them again. The wheels have begun turning.
The situation as it stands is Amber is MVP. She is kind of dictating the way Fuji 4 vote next time. All they need are 6 votes. I believe PG and Eliza will pitch this to Coach who will could decline it. Then they will try to get back Siska. Slightly less likely chance that either PG or Eliza come to me and get me to vote against Abi. Not sure if this is going to actually work. But at the moment Amber holds some power.
So that's it for now. I will most definitely update more with some mildly interesting tidbits about my convos with Eliza and Abi. But for now this is Rob Cesternino saying adios
