Coming to you LIVE! from my apartment, it's Rob plays Survivor Warriors : Japan. Hello everybody and welcome to the first merge episode of RPSWJ. Yes we are all officially date able although we are in quite the sticky situation. Tonight's episode is brought to you by WWE RAW, the longest running episodic TV show and Lindor White Chocolate Truffles, delicious milk chocolate candy. So let's get into what has been going on and what may be happening.
We learned that there would be an outcasts twist where the 7 people voted off would compete and 1 person would come back. Seeing as PG had gone 7 hours to win individual immunity we all speculated it would be her coming back. Really anyone other than Nate would be a disadvantage for us. Us being the GAOA JFP/Abi/Rup?Corinne and I. So we are staring down the barrel of a gun called Pagonging at this point because we assume Coach is lost to the dark side. With PG coming back it becomes 7-5. We talked about trying to bring back Coach. And Fairplay claimed he could get Amber to flip. But I doubt anyone believed him.
Now when PG returned to the game she messaged me. I think when I talked to her before she left, that curried me some favor with her. She asked me where we stood and I reiterated that I don't and won't break my promises. She had said that we can "watch each other's back at the merge" if we both make it here. I tried to convince her that taking out Fairplay is not the best move as of now and threw Rup, Coach and Alex under the bus. She didn't bite. And she very subtly let me know that if Jon gets immunity, it's going to be my ass that get's the boot. I didn't push the issue and she said she had to go to sleep because she had been up 30 hours straight What dedication! My hats off to her.
Now in the middle of the day, Jon messages me and says he smoothed stuff over with Coach and our original "Regulators" is back in place. He told us how he believes the next challenge is auction and we bounced around ideas on what to do about it. Before the challenge was announced so it's not a rule violation. [Breaking 4th wall] You hosts really need to change up the challenges if JFP can guess with so much certainty what the next challenge is gonna be. Just saying. [Ok back to normal.] So it seemed on the surface that Coach was back in the fold and we were looking at a Genji - Fuji 6-6. Splendid!
Later in the day, I message Abi. People are going to underestimate Abi and it is going to cost them. I would not be surprised if Abi escapes people's notice and makes it to the end as the underdog who fought strategically and in challenges to stay in the game after coming in to the swap on the wrong end of the numbers. She is really good at knowing who to approach and what to say without revealing her hand. She, in no uncertain terms, said Fairplay is toast. Apparently Coach was laying it on thick when he made me and Jon feel comfortable. He succeeded in fooling Jon because Jon told me at night he feels a lot more comfortable now and believes in Coach. Abi told me she has "distanced herself" from Jon in the eyes of Fuji and I should do the same. That's code for "I am on my own, you on your own. Bye bitch!"
Corinne. Ah my sweet little showmance with Corinne. It's so much fun. That's my primary reason of wanting to stay in the game. So that I can keep talking to her. Never had so much fun talking with a stranger in an ORG. I have a ball and always end the day talking to her before I sleep. Game wise, she says she feels confident we can flip on Fairplay and find some one to work with. Also interesting is that certain Fujis really want to talk to her. Like Eliza and Siska. Eliza pretty much hates me and likely won't ever talk with me again after the debacle that was my chat with her before her vote off on NuGenji. So maybe if people want to work with Corinne, she can buy me some extra time in the game. Otherwise, it looks like whoever out of me and Fairplay doesn't get immunity this round is leaving.
Now we come to the auction. I gave it some thought. Not betting on anything probably sounds like the safest move. I am willing to bet that the Fujis will discuss where to bid what and go for the goodies. Abi will also go for something. So will Corinne. and Coach too. Rup will likely want to try for both getting something cheaply and having a shot at immunity. I imagine Fairplay is going for immunity but will also spend a little. I had initially thought I won't go for anything. But I am now leaning towards not caring about immunity at all and going for some stuff. Winning immunity will buy me three days but getting something like a double vote or an HII will give me a chance to do something that will alter the course of the game. I have been semi-dormant so far and let things happen. But I think it's time to wake up and start swinging.
And that's all we have for today's episode. As always leave your questions on this thread. Happy new year everyone
