So this outcome was exactly why I was saying earlier that I would prefer to lose. Reed was the first person to approach me for an alliance and one of the most comfortable people I felt talking with and now he's out. It just sucks how easily and fast this game can take a turn for the worst. PG told me that she thought FairPlay was going home and I actually believed her, but we should have known it was too good to be true. And then apparently FairPlay acted like a total jackass to PG after the vote for not voting for Eliza and it's like, you know PG could still make the jury right? Good luck getting her vote at the finale if she does. After I found out Reed went home, Alex's Plan A became throw all future challenges after getting the consent of the Fujis and get out all the Genjis on my tribe, but Plan A quickly had to be aborted because of another double tribal twist. Thank God this isn't a normal double tribal though. Basically the Fujis only shot at survival is to vote out who we think the worst at challenges is which is probably Nate and hope that PG or Eliza can win the duel (whichever one of them get the boot). I briefly talked it over with Baylor and Amber and they seemed fine with it, but Jason has been gone for the entire night so that is troublesome. I need someone on the tribe to be able to talk hardcore strategy with and I don't feel particularly close to any of my tribe mates aside from Jason. The weird thing about Nate is that he seemed active when he started the game especially with that long public confessional he had, but now he seems to have just disappeared. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he just didn't show up to the duel when he gets the boot.
Coach is acting completely on our side and no matter if he actually is or not, it's a smart play by him since he's basically guaranteeing himself merge especially if he votes with us for Nate and/or Rupert. I'm a little wary around Coach though because PG told me that Corinne and Abi straight up lied to the former Fujis over there which means that Genji has some people that aren't afraid to lie. So I don't want Coach to be playing us this whole time and then flip back to the former Genjis at merge. I have a feeling this is going to be a big ol' battle between former Fuji and former Genji until the merger and whichever former tribe as more numbers will get the edge and likely control the rest of the game. If the numbers are even, then it will get intense. If the Fujis gain control at the merge then I could see myself going to the top 5 at least. If the Genjis gain control at the merge then I'm fucked and likely won't be able to get past 10th place unless I Cochran, but Cochranning is the worst idea possible because even if the Cochran person can somehow adapt and make it to the F3, there is no way that person will end up getting the jury votes of their former tribe mates that they voted out.
As far as this challenge goes, I'm hoping one of us former Fujis can win it on this tribe so we can have complete control over who goes home this round although I'm probably not going to try too hard for it. If I try hard and end up winning it then I could become target numero uno at merge and we can't have that, now can we? Plus I really doubt I need immunity this round and if I do somehow need it then it would only save me a round or 2 because I'd just get voted out the moment I didn't have it. But that shouldn't be the case and fuck the former Fujis if I somehow get the boot this round because that would mean one of them went insane and flipped to vote me out. On the other tribe I don't even think it matters too much who wins because even if a former Fuji wins then the other one will just get the boot.
