So sorry I have been totally slacking on confessionals! It's been a hectic week for me and unfortunately my dad has been pretty sick in the hospital the last few days so although I have tried to stay up to speed on the social game, the idea of sitting down and writing a confessional hasn't been on the forefront of my mind, but I'm back and ready to slay everybody so stay turned!
First of all, I feel like this tribe swap really didn't turn out in a way I would have wished it. Like are you fucking kidding me? I probably would have been safe for at least two more votes without a swap, probably more plus the three people at the bottom of my boot list are the three people that end up being on the opposite tribe that I'm on. I've probably talked to Jason, Baylor, and Amber much less than I've talked with PG, Reed, and Eliza. In case you didn't know there was a five person alliance on old Fujiwara consisting of myself, Eliza, PG, Reed, and Jason. Jason is the only person of that alliance on my tribe and the only one I felt decently comfortable with going into this swap, but he doesn't respond all the time which can get frustrating sometimes because I can't tell if he's put off by what I said or if he just hasn't seen it yet. The good news about the swap is that I am on the tribe with ex-Fujiwara majority so I'm hoping that at least to some extent the former Fujiwaras can stick together over here and we should have at least a few couple easy votes. There hasn't been any mention of idols so I'm really confused if they're not in the season or if I'm missing something big.
Of our new tribe mates I do actually enjoy Coach and I think that if we were on the same tribe originally we for sure could have hit it off well together and teamed up and it still could happen (he did approach me about an alliance, but I feel like that was out of desperation knowing that he's in the minority), but I don't really want anything long term with him at this point because I already have prior relationships with people that are stronger than the one I have with Coach whom I basically just met. Coach seems to be the only former Genji person really playing the game over on my side. Haven't heard from Rupert and Nate seems to have disappeared, but Coach is talking to everyone and trying to get some work done so he could be dangerous if he's kept around for too long.
Right now, I'd almost prefer to lose than win the challenge. Nate hasn't been around so I feel like it would be a pretty easy vote without pissing anyone off. If we happened to win then there is a good chance that one of my allies will be picked off and we can't have that. That would be bad for business. Jason and I tossed around the idea of throwing challenges, but in the end decided not to because the risk was too great and we weren't 100% that Amber would stick with us if someone like Coach tried to talk her into voting one of us off. This is it for now, but I promise to do my best to be more active with confessionals in the future!
